저희 집에도 드롱기 에스프레소 머신을 쓰는데요, 구매한 지 벌써 3년이 다 되어갑니다. 여전히 만족하면서 잘 쓰고 있어요. 아마존 쇼핑몰을 훑어보다보니, 이 에스프레소 머신이 눈에 띄네요. 홈카페 분위기를 내기에 제격인 것 같아보입니다. 이 제품은 어떤 장단점이 있는지 살펴보겠습니다.

-내용: I’ve had a few espresso makers over the years and have always wanted to try one of these that has the built-in grinder. When I got this one I was very excited to put it through its paces. To begin with, it comes with a quick start brochure and then a more detailed owners manual. There isn’t any assembly to speak of, just removing some tape that holds it all together (no residue - well thought out).

There are settings for grind size, water temp, and water hardness, as well as the ability to go into the system to modify additional settings like pour volume. That has always been a concern for me - that a push button system will make the amount that I want. There is a setting for that which is very easy to access through a simple programming setting. The machine comes with a test strip to measure your water hardness so you can set it properly and a bottle of descaling solution. There is an indicator light on the front panel to let you know when to descale. Lastly, it comes with a nice stainless milk pitcher, a funnel/holder for the portafilter to fit under the grinder, and a heavy, solid tamper. There is a small silicone mat that holds these items and it fits under the machine head quite nicely.

As far as the coffee/espresso - it has just enough setting variations to let you customize your cup however you want. It will make an Americano by itself, dispensing the hot water separately alongside the brewed espresso. There’s a setting for cold brew too - I have not used it, but I will at some point. The guidebook/brochure gives you some suggestions as to grind size depending on the beans you use, the you can adjust from there.

Lastly - it looks amazing on my counter. I guess that shouldn’t matter that much - but we all know that it does. You will not be disappointed in this area for sure. It has an automatic shut-off (which is also adjustable) and when it has done that, you just push OK to get it going again. No need to manually flip the switch every time.

To sum it up - this is a great machine. I think it is an excellent value for the price and recommend it highly. You will not be disappointed.

-내용: Machine is ok but the fact that I bought it for $1049 and than it went on sale 4 days later for $300 less and was told they wouldn’t do a price correction/rebate for me means I will never buy a delonghi product again. Very short-sighted in my opinion.

부정적 리뷰는 제품 자체의 결함이나 단점보다는 구매에서 겪은 부정적 내용이네요. 저 같아도 제가 산 제품의 가격이 며칠만에 몇십만원이 할인된 가격으로 판매되는 걸 본다면 너무 속이 쓰릴 것 같아요. 이럴 땐 판매자가 조금이라도 다른 혜택을 주면 좋을텐데요. 신선한 원두라도 좀 보내준다든가요. 아님 다른 방법은 뭐가 있을까요? 

이때 판매자의 short-sighted한 태도에 대해서 실망한 경우에 쓸 수 있는 보너스 표현도 알려드립니다. What a bummer! 완전 대실망이야.

개인적으로 저는 작년엔 커피를 끊으려고 디카페인을 마시기도 하고 차를 마시기도 했었어요. 근데 커피의 그 고소한 향기에 넘어가서 다시 한 모금 두 모금 마시다보니, 이젠 다시 커피를 아무렇지 않게 마시고 있네요.
