요즘 주방용품에 관심이 많아서 찾아봤습니다. 일단 귀엽게 생긴 이 냄비가 눈에 들어오네요. 르쿠르제 라운드 더치 오븐입니다. 색깔도 질리지 않을 색이라서 땡기네요. 어디 한 번 아마존 리뷰를 읽어보겠습니다.

-내용: In my opinion, this might just be the ultimate cooking vessel! It truly is a “jack of all trades”, yet it excels in so many!

What isn’t this great for? It can handle searing heat, or low and slow, it can easily be transferred from the stove to the oven, and back again. It’s a great heat conductor with fantastic heat distribution so it can bake breads, deep fry, or keep a dish warm for serving. With a little aluminum foil and a small wire rack, you can even turn it into quite an effective makeshift mini-smoker!

I use the 5.5QT version, which is a nice medium-to-large “all around” size that can comfortably serve 6 people. It’s wide enough to easily use a spatula for flipping (it even sears a nice burger!), yet it’s also tall enough to go all out on nice chunky stew or bake an artisanal loaf of bread.

The enamel coating is also an overall upgrade over traditional cast iron. It cleans up reasonably easily, and it won’t react to highly acidic foods such as tomato sauces. While it’s not exactly a non-stick surface, this is actually an advantage because it’s great for creating that perfect fond.

On top of it all, it’s beautiful to look at. My Le Creuset Dutch oven sits on my stove as a permanent fixture because I use it for just about everything - from searing steaks to you-name-it!

이 요리용기는 제 의견으로는 최고의 조리 도구일 것 같습니다. 다양한 요리에서 대단히 뛰어난 만능입니다. 고온에서도, 천천히 조리할 때도, 가열된 상태에서 화구에서 오븐으로 손쉽게 옮길 수 있습니다. 열 전도가 우수하며 열 분포가 균일하여 빵 굽기, 튀김, 음식을 따뜻하게 유지하는 데 사용할 수 있습니다. 알루미늄 호일과 작은 와이어 랙을 이용하면 효과적인 소규모 스모커로도 활용할 수 있습니다.

5.5QT 버전은 6인 가족에게 편리한 중대형 크기입니다. 넓이가 충분해서 쉽게 뒤집개를 사용할 수 있으며, 햄버거도 잘 구울 수 있습니다. 높이도 적당해서 푸짐한 국물요리나 빵도 구을 수 있어요.

에나멜 코팅은 전반적으로 업그레이드된 것으로, 비교적 쉽게 설거지할 수 있고 토마토 소스와 같은 산성 음식에 반응하지 않습니다. 비록 논스틱 표면은 아니지만, 이는 완벽한 퐁(fond)을 만들기에 장점입니다. 무엇보다 아름다워서 화구 위에 자리잡고 계속 사용하고 있습니다.  스테이크부터 무엇이든 다 이걸 사용해서 만들고 있어요.

I bought this Dutch oven as a gift for myself. I love soups and stews - I am a soup person! I chose Le Creuset for its quality and durability. But in my case, it wasn’t like that. I work full-time and don’t use this Dutch Oven often. I use the Dutch Oven once or twice a month if not less. The same month I purchased it, the enamel was already “cracking”. Just yesterday I noticed a small chip in the enamel coating. I can’t believe this is happening; I paid almost $500. I bought it for its “quality and durability” - clearly that didn’t hold true. I take really great care of my Dutch oven; when cleaning I always use non-abrasive products and am very gentle with it. If I could I would return but sadly the return window is closed. I am very upset but moreover disappointed with this purchase. Not worth it at all.

국물과 찌개를 정말 좋아해서 나를 위한 선물로 샀어요. 저는 국물 없인 못 살아요. 품질과 내구성 때문에 Le Creuset를 선택했습니다. 하지만 별로였네요. 저는 풀타임으로 일하면서 이것을 자주 사용하지 않았어요. 한 달에 한 두 번 사용할 뿐이었는데 구매한 달에 에나멜이 이미 "갈라지기" 시작했고, 어제는 작은 칩도 발견했어요. 믿을 수 없습니다. 거의 500달러를 지불했는데. "품질과 내구성"을 기대하고 샀는데 실망스러웠습니다. 저는 정말 잘 다뤄서 썼습니다. 청소할 때 항상 경화성이 없는 제품을 사용하고 매우 부드럽게 다뤘습니다. 반품할 수 있다면 좋겠지만 안타깝게도 반품 기간이 이미 지났습니다. 매우 화가 나고, 이 구매에 실망했습니다. 전혀 가치가 없어요.

같은 제품을 쓰고도 이렇게 의견이 엇갈리는 게 참 신기합니다. 역시 물건은 뽑기가 잘 되어야 하는데요. 이럴 때 쓸 수 있는 보너스 표현 알려드립니다. I guess it's a hit or miss.  "이건 완전히 복불복인 것 같네."
